The main difference between the high speed centrifuge and low speed centrifuge is that the speed is different. The speed of the low speed centrifuge does not exceed 4000 rpm, while the speed of the high speed centrifuge can reach more than 16000 rpm. And the scope of application is also different.
(1) High speed centrifuge
Generally, the high speed centrifuge is most used. The zonal centrifuge separates and collects cells, viruses, and DNA molecules according to the density and gradient of the sample solution. The loading and unloading of samples are carried out in a continuous manner.
High speed centrifuges, in addition to being widely used in production processes, are now also widely used in laboratory equipment. Due to the use of a DC variable frequency motor or a DC brushless motor, the speed is generally adjustable and can reach a high level.
(2) Low speed centrifuge
In addition to traditional industries such as textiles, chemicals, and environmental protection, low speed centrifuges are now widely used in pharmaceutical companies to separate the mother liquor.
Due to the strict regulations of the pharmaceutical industry, the pharmaceutical centrifuge basically adopts a flat closed type. In order to reduce possible pollution or damage and to improve sanitation, stainless steel material is used for the part in contact with the material or the whole is made of stainless steel material. The whole machine has no sanitary dead angles and is clean and easy to use.
1) Usually the centrifuge will be attached with a registration form, please register the user, rotor, speed and time before use.
2) The centrifuge tube must be well balanced. Pay attention to the position balance when placing the centrifugal top. Never exceed the maximum speed limit of a centrifuge or a centrifugal top.
3) The centrifugal cover must be set to reach the preset speed before leaving the centrifuge: If there is any abnormality, stop it immediately.
